You are ruining my visa statement! haha.
The other day I was casually walking around Chapters (dangerous) and since Ryan was still in Vancouver, and I had a cold, it seemed like the perfect time to pick up some new books. So, I took a healthy limit of three - A Stolen Life, Heaven is For Real and The Sweet Life in Paris.
But after devouring The Sweet Life in Paris, I logged on to Amazon.ca just to see what was still sitting in my wishlist. Of course, the books I've been longing to own have sat there patiently, waiting for me to commit.
So I figured, what the hell.
Ryan came home and commented about my new pile of booky treasure. My new bookshelf is already filling up so quickly that I should really consider an expansion project. So, I'm not exactly sure how he felt when he learnt that my special Amazon.ca delivery of SEVEN books are on their way. Muhahaha!
Maybe it's the fall that gets me in the book-reading mood. Crisp, cool weather, warm blankets, cozy reading chair, warm reading lamp and a cup of tea (or sometimes bowl of popcorn) - it's like reading heaven. The first leaves are turning yellow, and to me, its a signal to settle down and cozy in with a good book, or seven. Good times are ahead!
